4 Ways You Can Change Your Smile

If you have one handy, pick up a copy of a celebrity magazine. Look through the pages, and you will see photo after photo of people with amazing smiles. If you don’t have a magazine with you, try to imagine your favorite actors’ smiles.

This “Hollywood smile” seems perfect, doesn’t it? Now, ask yourself how many of those celebrities are born with such perfect teeth. The answer is not many.

Most people don’t have naturally perfect smiles. The thing is, we offer the same services that many celebrities have used to create their camera-ready smiles.

If you’d like to have a smile like that, too, consider these ways you can make your smile even better.

➤ 1. Change The Color Of Your Teeth

If your teeth are not as white as they use to be, then two things have probably happened. First, you have gotten older. Second, you eat and drink things.

It’s almost inevitable that your teeth will become yellower or darker with time. Most of the things that we eat and drink add to the gradual changes in the color of our teeth. As a general guideline, if something can stain your shirt, then it can probably stain your teeth, too.

A great way to get rid of those stains is professional teeth whitening at our Boynton Beach dentist office. In a single visit to our dentist office, you could have a noticeably whiter smile.

Dental veneers are another way to make your teeth look whiter. Instead of removing your stains, veneers are bonded to the front of your teeth to change their appearance. As you’ll see, this makes dental veneers useful for other reasons as well.

➤ 2. Fix Your Damaged Teeth

Chipped, cracked, and broken teeth are small things that can have a big effect on your smile and your confidence in your smile.

How many teeth are affected and how large the damage is can affect how you restore the appearance of your smile. Dental crowns may be needed for large breaks or cracks. Dental bonding may be enough for small chips, while a set of dental veneers can work on multiple teeth at the same time.

➤ 3. Make Your Teeth Look Straight

Crooked teeth don’t just affect how confident you may feel about your smile. They also can make it more difficult to remove bacteria and plaque from your mouth.

Orthodontic care can address both of those concerns. Invisalign® is an excellent way to straighten teeth and to fix issues such as overbites and underbites. And unlike braces, Invisalign does not require you to wear brackets and wires on your teeth for years at a time.

➤ 4. Make Your Teeth Look Evenly Spaced

How your teeth line up with one another isn’t just a matter of being straight. You may have a gap or gaps between two or more of your teeth. You also may have teeth that look like they are pressed into another.

Again, Invisalign is a way to address these issues. Another option might be a set of dental veneers. When your custom-designed veneers are bonded in place, your smile can look clean, straight, and evenly spaced.
